So, I haven’t posted in a while and that is mainly because I have been writing. But, a quick update.
1) I got to read an excerpt of my writing at the Carifesta!
I was so nervous but I am so happy I did it. I couldn’t stick around to chat or anything because I had another engagement but it was just awesome to be there. I’m definitely going to try to go to another Carifesta / Bocas Lit Fest Literary event before it ends. Day job and distance means I have to just catch pics on IG.
2. My short story, “After Life”, originally published in The Dark has been translated into Italian and is going to be reprinted in Il Buio Issue Five! I am so excited and I hope that their Italian readers are going to love it too.
And that’s it for my update. I hope I can have other exciting news next week. In the meantime, this book isn’t going to finish itself.
